Description for General Chemistry I (CHEM 112): 5 credit hour class
Topics in general chemistry, including stoichiometry, periodicity, reaction types, the gaseous state, solution stoichiometry, chemical equilibria, acid-base equilibria, dissolution-precipitation equilibria. Includes a weekly 3-hour lab.

Description for Calculus I (MATH 180): 5 credit hour class
Differentiation, curve sketching, maximum-minimum problems, related rates, mean-value theorem, antiderivative, Riemann integral, logarithm, and exponential functions.

Both classes starts from June 12 until August 3. I just need one class. I don’t know which one to choose.

Any thoughts?

  1. starshipranger5 answered: I’m currently taking AP Calc with the same general description and I took AP Chem last year with the same general description of your class.
  2. darknessdescendsoncemore answered: chem 112 for sure.
  3. heisenblerg answered: Chemistry. Will be much more interesting/labs will be fun as opposed to just maths.
  4. hamrunsfast answered: WOW. I wouldn’t suggest taking either. that’s death I heard. especially since it’s in the 4 week session not the 8 week. D:
